Nestled in 350 acres woodland, lakes, and countryside near Riseley in Hampshire, Wellington Country Park offers a safe and immersive outdoor classroom for children aged 2 to 9 years. Opened in 1974, this award-winning park blends hands‑on wildlife encounters, nature trails, educational workshops, and play adventures to spark curiosity, exploration, and lasting memories. Engage young minds and find freedom in exploration.
Discover the fun at Welly Park with our explorers package or encourage outside learning with one of our detective workshops. Have a ride and play eye spy on the Miniature Railway. Feel like Tarzan and swing through our playgrounds. Climb our Pirate Ship to find the hidden treasure. Discover our Nature Trails and wave to our deer. Wander through our woodlands and feed our Farm animals.

Woodland Scavenger Hunt
Perfect for little ones. Discover the great outdoors and create beautiful collage pictures to take home. Using their senses of touch, smell and sight, journey through the woodlands in small groups and collect a variety of plants, leaves, seeds and sticks.
Children will collect items in their own individual buckets throughout the woodland and grounds at the Park, to help to create their own nature themed collages.
