Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion, treating the kids, or just want a more personal encounter with our animals, this exclusive experience is designed to create even more unforgettable memories. Choose from three of our most-loved animals and enjoy a 20-minute private session for up to 6 people. You’ll get hands-on time with your chosen animal, guided by one of our friendly animal keepers who’ll share fun facts, answer questions, and ensure everyone has a safe and enjoyable time.

Wellington Country Park Terms & Conditions for Animal Farm Experience

All Animal Farm Petting Experiences must be booked 7 days in advance. We can not accept bookings made outside of this period. Below Terms & Conditions apply. 

General
Full information about Wellington Country Park, its facilities, services and ticket prices are available on our website www.wellingtoncountrypark.co.uk .
Normal Terms and Conditions of Entry to the Park apply to all visitors. Please ensure you read this Terms and Conditions prior to purchase of your Animal Farm Experience. By purchasing an experience, you are accepting and agreeing to these Terms and Conditions, and that they are for the personal use of you and your party and that they cannot be re-sold in any way. Wellington Country Park reserve the right to cancel, without refund, any ticket found to have been re-sold.
Wellington Country Park reserves the right to alter opening times, admission prices, change any advertised entertainment, show time or any other presentation, cancel any advertised event or even close the Park partially or completely at any time, without prior notice.
Visitors are also reminded that for operational, technical, safety or any other reason, any of the facilities on site may be closed, removed, altered or unavailable at any time.
Wellington Country Park regularly takes photos and videos during visits and events for promotional materials, by an internal or external photographer and/or videographer. Please speak to a member of our team before your visit if you have any questions or would not like to be included and we will make every reasonable effort to accommodate your request. Visitors will be able to take their own pictures of their experience.
All items, belongings and any other personal property brought into the Park by visitors to the Park shall be done so at the owner’s risk. Wellington Country Park accepts no liability for the loss or damage to such property.

Experience
Our animal experiences last approx. 20mins, depending on the experience booked and the prices are as follows: –
For up to 4 people – (no more than 2 children under 8yrs old) – £30
For up to 5 people – (no more than 3 children under 8yrs old) – £45
For up to 6 people – (no more than 4 children under 8yrs old) – £60

On purchasing your experience, unless otherwise stated, entrance to the Park is not included. Any children under 16 yrs of age must be accompanied by at least one responsible adult, over the age of 18 yrs old during the encounter.
Entrance to the Park must be purchased separately and must be purchased for each and every person attending the experience, whether taking part in the experience or not.
Entry to enclosures is strictly prohibited unless accompanied by a member of farm staff. Feeding animals is only permitted with food provided by Wellington Country Park. Participants are not able to bring their own food for the animals.
We reserve the right to alter or change an experience without notice, including not being able to give direct contact with the particular animal experience booked if circumstances dictate. This could be due to inclement weather, a particular animal being unwell, legal guidance or for any other reason deemed necessary under health and safety concerns for the animal or participants, by the farm staff.
The health and safety of the animals will always be the paramount concern in any decision to change or alter any petting session.

Booking/Arrival
Please arrive at the Park 30 minutes before your scheduled encounter is due to start. This will allow you time to enter the Park and then walk down to the farm.
If you are already in the Park, then please be at the farm 10 mins before your scheduled encounter is due to start. Please note, the length of an experience cannot be extended if you are late or delayed.
Once at the farm, please make yourself known to a member of staff who will direct you to the experience area.
For the safety of our animals and guests, no eating or drinking is allowed on the farm.

Dress and Attire
For the encounter, footwear must be closed-toe sturdy shoes or boots. please dress appropriately. Farm areas can be muddy and messy, so we advise the following with regard clothing and personal attire: –
• Suitable weather-proof clothing must be worn e.g. full-length trousers or leggings.
• Please bring a lightweight coat if there is any possibility of rain.
• Footwear must be closed-toe, sturdy shoes or boots. Please note, for safety and bio-security reasons, participants will be asked to use a foot dip. If the correct footwear is not worn, the session WILL BE cancelled, with no refund given.
Without suitable clothing and in particular the correct footwear, your experience cannot go ahead.
• Jewellery and Accessories must be kept to a minimum. Animals may be attracted to shiny or dangling items, which can pose a danger to them and may be lost or damaged.
• Hair, for safety reasons, must be tied back.

Health & Safety
All visitors are required to adhere to the health and safety measures as laid out in our normal terms and conditions of entry.
However, animal experiences all carry a level of risk as animals can bite, scratch, push and kick. If you follow staff safety guidelines the likelihood of injury is greatly reduced, however we cannot take responsibility for accidents, injuries, or damages.
All visitors to the farm including and in particular participants of an encounter, must wash their hands thoroughly after contact with the animals and enclosures.

Behaviour Expectations
General behavioural expectations are laid out in our normal Terms and Conditions of Entry and fully apply to our Animal Experiences.
In addition, all participants and accompanying adults must follow all Health and Safety guidance from farm staff.
Anyone acting inappropriately or in an unsafe manner will be asked to leave the farm immediately and the experience will be terminated. No refunds will be issued in this instance.

Medication/Accessibility
Please advise at time of booking if anyone taking part has additional requirements including a disability, pregnancy, diet, or immune suppression or is currently receiving or taking medication which may require an experience to be varied or changed.
We are a farm with a variety of animals and substrates; therefore, any allergies should be confirmed when booking an experience. Experiences may not be suitable for those allergic to dust, animal fur or bedding (such as hay and straw).
Please ensure you carry any personal emergency medication such as inhalers or adrenaline auto-injectors on you and declare these to farm staff upon arrival.
Wheelchair users and people with restricted mobility may have limitations in certain enclosures.

Cancellation
If Wellington Country Park has to cancel the experience completely for whatever reason, we will look to offer you an alternative date within the current season. If no date is compatible, then a full refund will be given.
Wellington Country Park cannot however be held liable for any other additional or supplementary costs incurred by any member of the group booking incurred as a result of the cancellation.

If you are unable to attend for any reason the following cancellation policy applies:
Cancellation 7 days in advance of the day of the experience, you will lose 25% of your total booking fee.
Cancellation 3 days in advance of the day of the experience, you will lose 50% of your total booking fee.
Cancellation on the day of the experience, no refund will be given.
