Join us at Wellington Country Park from Monday to Friday for special infant days out, alongside all of our normal attractions!
Visit our Adventure Room from Monday to Friday, during Hampshire Term Time dates, to visit our Welly Tots role play area. Visit us on a Wednesday for Welly Wednesday’s, a baby and toddler craft group. Let children up to 5 years old imaginations run wild whilst learning and communicating through play.

Welly Tots consists of 4 role play areas:
- Construction
- Café
- Vets
- Dress Up Theatre
Children (aged 18 months to 5 years old*) can let their imagination run wild at Welly Park whilst learning and communicating through play.
Held in our Adventure Room from Monday to Friday during Term Time** only between 9:45am to 2:00pm, last entry 1:45pm. It is the perfect addition to your little one’s adventure and is included within your entry ticket or Annual Pass.
* Welly Tots is aimed for children aged from 18 months to 5 years old. Children under 18 months will only be permitted if accompanied by child aged between 18 months to 5 years old.

Welly Tots is running throughout 2026 from Monday to Friday during Hampshire Term Time dates:
Winter Term
- Monday 23rd February to Friday 27th March
Spring Term
- Monday 13th April to Friday 22nd May (closed 5th May – Bank Holiday)
Summer Term
- Monday 1st June to Friday 17th July
Autumn Term
- Wednesday 2nd September to Friday 16th October
Welly Tots will close for the 2026 season on Friday 16th October to allow us to get ready for our Hallo’Welly’Ween event.

- Where is it held?
In the Adventure Room, number 24 on our Park Map.
- What Age group is Welly Toits suitable for?
Welly Tots is predominately aimed at children from 18 months or walking up to 5 years old max.
- My child is under 18 months old and isn’t walking. Can we attend?
Unfortunately, not, unless they are coming along with a sibling aged 18 months/walking up to 5-year-old.
- Can I drop my child off and leave them with you at Welly Tots?
Unfortunately, not. All children must be supervised by an adult (over 18) at all times!
- What days and times does Welly Tots run?
Welly Tots is open between 9:45am and 2:00pm, last entry at 1:45pm. It is open Monday, Tuesdays, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday during Term Time only. Please check the dates tab on the Welly Tots page or ask a member of our team for a full list of dates.
- I don’t want to pay to come to the Park. Can I just pay to go to Welly Tots?
Unfortunately, not. Due to the location of Welly Tots and it being out within the Park, we would be unable to supervisor people leaving/not leaving the Park
- How much is it to attend Welly Tots?
Welly Tots is included in the admission price. No extra payment is required
- I’m an Annual Pass holder; do I have to pay extra?
No extra payment is requires. Access to Welly Tots is included within your Annual Pass
- Can I pre-book Welly Tots?
No, Welly Tots is on a first come first serve basis.
- Am I guaranteed entry into Welly Tots?
Unfortunately, due to restricted numbers in the room we cannot guarantee entry to Welly Tots. We do ask customers to only spend a maximum of 45 minutes in the room so it gives more visitors the chance to enjoy it.
- How many children do you allow in at one time?
Due to the size of the room and so the children can enjoy each area without it becoming too over crowded we do only allow 20 children in at one time. Each family group is restricted to a maximum of 2 adults.
- Are there toilet/baby change facilities available?
There are no facilities within the Welly Tots room but full toilet facilities and baby change are available, across the path outside the Welly Tots.
- Can I bring my pushchair into the room?
Due to the space in the room, pushchairs cannot be brought into the Welly Tots room. There is limited cover and storage space outside in the pushchair park.
- Can I bring a picnic or drink in the room?
Unfortunately for obvious safety reasons, we cannot allow any food/drink into the room.
Welly Wednesday’s
Welly Wednesday is a craft group for babies and toddlers. It takes place every Wednesday from 9:30am to 11:00am during term time in our main Reception building. The goal is to help young children explore creativity, play, connect with nature, and have fun.
Each week features two sensory bins that aid sensory exploration, cognitive skills, and cooperative play. Children practice fine motor skills like scooping, digging, and sorting using natural items like leaves, flowers, and stones. All materials and tools are provided.
For children over 2, there’s an activity tray each week to teach specific skills like threading, counting, and cutting. Children will also enjoy puzzles related to the week’s theme, helping develop motor skills, memory, and attention span.
